Look at this as a life style change, and what you will learn will help you live a healthier life and enjoy activities. I still eat meat, love seafood of any kind, but it is about the whole picture of eating food at it's simplest form with little or no processing. Fresh whole fruits, vegetables and grains is something you have to incorporate slowly because your body will reject if you go to fast. I would start with fresh produce adding 5 to 7 servings each day, and 1 to 2 servings of whole grains. Remember portions are the thing most misunderstand like the whole banana this morning is 2 servings, most fruits are 2 servings sometimes 3 or 4.
