I'm not crazy about couscous and much prefer Quinoa or brown or black rice. If you are looking for a quick cooking grain I recommend the Quinoa.

Thank you so much Ellen for all the lovely comments you made on my photos, it's nice to know that someone actually looks at them.

Hi,
I could do with some suggestions please. I tried couscous but it came out like a mushy mess. I did what it said on the packet. I was thinking of trying bulgar next. Any other ideas? What wholefoods do you use?

emoticon to Whole Foods for Health team. Glad you have joined our Spark Team and good luck. I need to go more plant based, and most days do just fine.

A mostly plant based diet will help you. Give a vegan lifestyle a try for a month to see if you improve.

Hi Ellen and welcome to the team. A plant based diet can reverse a lot of diseases, I am proof of that. I had high B/P for which I took 3 medications, high cholesterol with one med. and type II diabetes for which I took one medication. For over a year now I have been off all medications and all my labs are within normal range, so it does work. Best wishes to you.
