Earth boxes are great for smaller spaces, or even for four seasons gardening since they can be moved. You might want to check them out: earthbox.com

We canned about 48 quarts of tomatoes, we still have some potatoes and carrots left and the rest we ate fresh. Next year I hope to can more things first year canning too :) Everything has been a learning curve. Earth boxes I'm not familiar what are they are they for indoor growing? Hope you have a wonderful day off to work fun stuff I will check back later.

It sounds wonderful! Did you can anything, or were you able to eat it fresh? I have only tomatoes and a few herbs left in my garden. I am trying to nurse them through the winter; everything I grow is in a container....Earth Boxes.

Thanks for the welcome :) I planted potatoes, corn, spinach, romaine, tomatoes, summer squash, zucchini, eggplant, green beans, and cucumbers. I also had an herb box that was fun next year I plant to plant a little more variety of veggies. It was fun and now after the planting season you see what grows good and what doesn't do as well so next spring I will plant accordingly and add a few things. Well thanks for the welcome.

Welcome. Maintaining a garden is great and I applaud you. I am one who prefers whole foods but I am not able to grow my own. I shop at farmer's markets and grocers that offer whole food items.

Congratulations on your efforts and keep us abreast at your garden's progress.
