Business Management Undergrad
January 01, 2011. A new beginning. My long and short term goals:
1) Lose weight safely and permanantly
2) Live a healthier life to the best of my ability
3) Remove the buildup in my arteries
5) Get my HDL and LDL in good ranges .
6) to be atleast 224 by December 31, 2011

Hi, All! I've been on Spark People since the beginning of August, but I began my journey long before that - SP was just the next evolution, helping me to integrate and incorporate all the previously learned information into a functional system of tracking, and helps keep me motivated to take my health seriously. I've been focusing on eating whole foods since I became pregnant, but really ramped up within the past 6-9 months. My son is 4 years old, so there's been some rocky ground between pregnancy and now, but with him growing up and running faster, I had to change my lifestyle just to keep up! Between eating healthier and exercising more, I'm starting to outlast him! Well, some days. I just found this group today, thanks the SP links on an article about whole grains. I'm hoping to learn and share with like-minded health conscious people! Glad to be here!
