Good luck to you! Sounds like a serious undertaking. I'm right there with you, trying to lose some more weight and stay healthy while doing it. I follow the Eat to Live plan by Dr. Joel Fuhrman; if you haven't read the book, I suggest picking it up at your local library, it's a fantastic read and reinforces all the good habits.

Ok this is it!!! I am sick of where I am now. If I do not change, I am going to actually end up sick.
I am joining vegetarian/vegan/over 50 teams to be supportive of those with similar goals and to get the support I need to achieve my goals.
I had been vegetarian for well over 15 years yet over the last three years have gradually slipped back to eating foods that are doing me absolutely no good. Additionally my regular 2 hour per day yoga practice has also been severely affected. The result of what I began to do in my late 30s and early 40s to take care of my health has enabled me to be without medications of any kind and to maintain normal blood pressure. Although still without medications and normal blood pressure, these unhealthy habits of the last 3 years has caused leg pain and other physical discomforts.
If I do not stop these bad habits now, my health will clearly worsen. I am not willing to accept this, so have decided to get serious again with the help of SparkPeople and this program. Since April 1st of this year, my weight has yoyo’d three times between 185 and 195. Today I am at 192 and on my 5 ft 2 in frame its uncomfortable.
I am looking forward to eating healthy again, stretching to move the energy, and being able to fit into new clothes that look good.
