Can you explain the 6 week plan? I really am looking for clear guidance on how to begin. I have two more weeks of summer (I work for a school district) so I can handle not feeling well, detoxing, etc. for the next two weeks. I remember how well I felt and how much energy I had when I ate this way and am looking forward to getting that feeling back.
I'm going for the same advice, One thing at a time as if not you could feel deprived and we all know that never works. The first time I ever did a special diet regime was the candida cleanse diet after a week I was nearly in tears, after a month I went another month and was not trying to loose weight but did, and had more mental clarity than I had ever had in my life! One choice can make a difference and conquering one will ensure success for the next! and...
Going full steam ahead works for me, but like Deeann8 pointed out, I do tend to go on and off it. If you dive in you'll experience withdrawals for a few days, but nothing a tylenol won't get rid of. I guess it all depends on what your needs are and what you're willing to give up. But I will tell you that if you follow the 6-week plan the weight will come off...and fast! good luck!
Many years ago, I read Fit for Life by the Diamonds, followed the advice and lost almost 40 pounds. Since then, I have gained most of the weight back and would like to start eating that way again.
Any help on how to get started eating right would be apprecaited...Is it better to just jump in and go vegeterian, get rid of sugar all at once? Or is it better to get rid of one bad habit at a time?
