Hi JIll,Yep you read it right.I've lost 29 lbs, since Feb.3.The Book is called "You Are What You Eat",by Dr. Gillian McKeith.I have a couple of her books. She also has a show on BBC America.I'm in Florida, but it is on here at 11a.m. and again at 4p.m.She is a Holistic Nutritionist.I love the plan.I never have cravings anymore and unless I've skipped a meal,I'm very seldom hungry. If you need any more info just let me know.--Sherry

Hi Jill,Welcome.Sorry, but no knowledge of what you asked about. What plan or "diet"(I hate that word),are you following if any?Maybe you could try a detox day.I found one in the book that I am reading and I liked it.It's not hard on your system,if you know what I mean. Then there is an 8 week plan that goes with it.That's what I'm doing now.I started it on Feb.3,and have lost 29 lbs,and I feel great.I had a very bad sinus problem with alot of mucous for 4 1/2 months.Four days after starting it,the mucous was gone.Sorry I couldn't help with your question.

Welcome, Robin!

We're experimenting with vegan eating, but will probably ultimately do some days that allow milk or eggs, and maybe even a meal or two here or there with meat for us... but we are also trying to go all natural / organic.

Good to meet you!

Welcome to the team. I don't like meat (and it doesn't like me either). Congratulations on your new life without meat.

Hello everyone,

My name is Robin and I have just recently became a lacto-ovo vegetarian. It really hasn't been to great of a hardship for me. My body really began telling me, about 2 years ago, that it doesn't like nor appreciate meat so I've finally taken the plunge. It's been a real change. I am learning how to cook all over again. But I've not only gone vegetarian but I've also switched to all natural products to clean up our home environment and to help make the world a little cleaner.
Anyway I hope to learn a lot from everyone here.
