Although I ask that discussion within the team be supportive of a plant-based way of eating, we welcome everyone here, wherever they are on the path. We are not the food police!
One of my reasons for starting the team was a desire for a place where people could honestly express themselves without fear of condemnation for purists.

I think you found the right group. I think most everyone here tries to eat as many whole foods as possible, some vegan, some vegetarians, and many others too. I try to do a meditteranian(sp) style eating -- just limiting my meats, and eating leaner cuts (more fish, less beef).
Welcome to the group and good luck.

Hi! Nothing wrong with doing what feels right to you! After 10 years as a vegetarian I recently became a pescetarian because I had to lower my carb intake due to my insulin resistance from pcos. I personally believe there is no one right way to eat.

Hello and welcome. It's okay being a flexitarian. Nothing works for everybody so each person has to find what works for them.
Good luck with your goals.

hey all, i'm glad to be part of this team. but i hope you don't mind, i am more of a flexitarian.
i try to follow the mcDougall plan, but i am not as hardcore about it as others. although i will add, i do notice a difference in my weight and how i feel, when i do eat meat.
