thank you for your warm welcome. I look forward to sharing.
Welcome Nia sister! I'm so glad that you found our group! Nia is a wonderful mind-body work out....a way of life really. I am from NJ and teach near Princeton. I love it!!! We are all here to help you along your weight loss journey, so don't be shy and look to us for support! We'll talk all things Nia, health, and whatever else!!! :-)
Big Nia Hugs to you,
That is totally awesome. We don't have a Nia class anywhere near where I live but I love dancing along with the videos I find on You Tube. Nice to meet you and hope to see you around more.
Welcome to the Team.
Keep on Dancing....

Hello Nia people,
I am writing to inrtoduce myself, I am fairly new to Sparkpeople and I have been practing Nia for a few months now. I have fallen into the deep end with Nia, and if I had the time and money I would do it everyday. Right now I try to go 3-4 times a week and it is the highlight of my day.
I practise with 2-3 different teachers and each one bring their own unique style and experience.
Tonight, Karen Bossioneault who is a black belt teacher, lead us through a class without speaking using only handclaps and body cues to give direction. It was so amazing, we really connected with our bodies and the energy in the room was electric. What a wonderful evening, I am still buzzing.
I would love to hear about your classes. I hope to travel this summer and try out Nia, wherever we go.
