hi TracyAnnce I am glad you are here. I am glad you have found away to help your situation. One day at a time works for me. As for smoking I am still struggling. But I see the smoking cessation counseellor today and hoping she will give me some good tips. I have a prescription for Zyban, but haven't filled it out yet as I have to wait until I get paid. Which is on Monday. WooHoo, 6 more sleeps!! LOL.

I have tried the patch and unfortunately because of skin allergies that is not an option for me. However my husband and I got the e-cigarette and are down from two packs a day (together) to one pack a week roughly so it is working for us and we are only using the 11mg filters. When we have gone for two weeks with no cigarettes we are going to cut to the 8 mg filters for about a month and then to the 0mg for another week or two. It seems to be working for us atleast. So. I am going to stick with it for now!!
As for alone time we have put the kids (and ourselves) on a schedule and we get an hour each night when the kids are in bed and I get an hour each morning when the kids (and husband) are all still asleep
I am a 30-something mother of five. I have been smoking for I don't know how long. I am at a stage in my life that I believe I can succeed in quitting smoking and getting healthy! My Husband is wanting to quit smoking as well but he has tried and can't quit while I am still smoking. So I am having to quit first. I think the hardest part isn't necessarily the nicotine addiction so much as the addiction to those five minute breaks from the kids!! LOL Seriously though, I am working on cutting back and searching for an alternative alone time!! Any ideas would be appreciated!!
