I like the idea of little projects 10-15 minutes. IT always makes me feel so proud when I have accomplished some task, even a little one. Getting control over my" procrastinating personality", will be a major accomplishment for me. Have a wonderful Labor Day tomorrow everyone.

Welcome Shansen7. You have come to the right team! Delighted to have you with us and good for you to decide to get organized and get rid of the clutter. We will have a September Challenge soon, so why don't you think about what you want to get started on and put down a plan on paper then post and follow up on reporting your success. One of our team mates suggested little jobs that can take 10 - 15 min to complete and then you work on your list when you have some free time. Jobs like: Getting rid of outdated medication in your bathroom. Cleaning out a drawer in the kitchen. Organizing a cupboard. You will be amazed to see how quickly things begin to shape up as you get rid of the clutter. Some of us go room by room while others choose a number of projects in several rooms.

I joined Spark on 8/23/11. I have joined 3 other teams, mostly relating to health, weight and fitness,. Today I found this group and my life just keeps getting better and better. As one of you has already stated, I am realizing that my weight and fitness problems are tied into my procrastination and overall slobbiness. I too, am ashamed to invite friends to my house, I will be celebrating my first anniversary tomorrow, my husband is used to having a neat house. So far he has been very gracious because I told him when we got married that I have been this way for 62 years and I am not likely to change now. Well, surprise, I want to change now.Not for him, and not for the marriage (which is very good) but for me, I believe skills I will hone here will help me stick to the new skills I am learning for my better health.
