My ideal body weight is 120 lbs, which ironically is the same number of pounds I need to loose to reach my goal. My fitness goal is to walk at least 1 mile a day. In March 2010, my 5'1" frame tipped the scale at 252 lbs and a friend suggested we do our own "biggest loser". She added "we each decide which, or if, we diet and if we exercise". I liked it! and I found a 1/4 mile track and walked around 4 times. I actually walked 6 days the first week and lost 6 lbs even though I still ate whatever I wanted. The next week I began drinking more water after reading an article in REMEDY that suggested dividing my current weight (246) in half & drink that number (123) in ounces daily. I lost another 4 lbs... then another 4 lbs but gained 4 lbs back after being unable to exercise due to excessive hemorrhaging. Two weeks ago I had a hysterectomy that included removing several large fibroid tumors. I'm not able to walk because of the stitches so for now I'll just set new fitness goals.
