Thanks everyone, I understand now. I just started reading Bob Greene's book The Life Diet Plan, the calorie thing makes cense. I'm going to have to get those 100 calorie chocolate bars, because who doesn't like chocolate?! :) I've tried the skinny cow fudge bar, they are so yummy, but then I feel guilty after, oh well, I have issues.
Yesterday I fell way below for the first time since I started. I just wasn't that hungry. Also if I don't have dinner before I go to my exercise class, I won't eat because I am definately not hungry when I come back.

I've had that problem too. I've started keeping mini chocolate bars on hand - the 100-calorie type - and if I'm under 1200 calories at the end of the day, I eat one before bedtime and then immediately brush my teeth. it's worked so far.

SunshineJenn is right, if your body doesn't get enough calories it goes into starvation mode which means that it will hold on to/store as much cals/fat as possible incase it needs it to survive. I've been under my cals alot also but what i'm trying to do is factor in more healthy snacks during the day to come in on target.

if you dont eat enough your body will think you are starving therefor it won't let you lose any wt. Its hard for me as well but in order to see results you have to try to stay within your target range. Good luck :)

Do you have to get to 1200 calories a day? Sometimes I find myself below the recommended intake, then I go for the treats and once I have one that leads to another, then by the end of the day I've reach almost 1500 calories and then some. I don't get why you have to fall between 1200 and 1550 calories a day. I know that the more calories you have is bad but what about less calories?
