Hi, my name is Rulla, I'm 39...big 4-0 is in April. My mission for the past 4 years has been to be "fabulous at forty". I'm almost there. I've lost close to 80 lbs in the past 4 years or so and would like to lose another 50 by my birthday. Actually would love to lose another 70 lbs but I don't think that's possible by April...buy hey, ya never know!
I feel and look better than I've looked and felt in many many years! I've gone down from a size 26-28 (that was getting tight) to a 16 now! I haven't worn a size 16 in probably 16 or 17 years. I'm loving it! but I definitely want to continue losing!
I actually woke up at 5am today and walked my neighborhood for about 40 minutes. In the dark, by myself, power walking and a bit of jogging. I'm sooooo not a morning person, but I did it and I love it.
Just heard about these walks that are scheduled throughout New Jersey and would love to join some. I believe the next one is in Point Pleasant Beach on the 30th...I have a party that night but if its early enough for me to do the walk and then get home and get ready for the party (in my slinky new costume) then I would love to join.
So please keep me informed on these walks. I live in the Jersey shore area...south of Toms River. If there's any in that area I would love to hear about them. Also, if anyone knows of any hiking trails in my area....let me know. My daughter and I would love to go hiking.
