Hi, I am not new to Spark just to this team. I am at the heaviest I have ever been and am so disgusted with myself for letting my weight get so out of control. I am an emotional eater, stress which is in my life daily I comfort with food. My daughter is getting married in August and I would at least like to feel good about how I look.
hoping to meet new friends and support as I am on my own at home.

HI, everyone. I just joined your team. I've been sparking for years and often tell people that I only "recently" got fat after medical issues. But I realized that "recently" was 14 years ago! Yes. Real shock. So I'm making a serious effort to drop 100 pounds over the next year.

I am back on Sparkpeople after some time away, starting all over. 204.4 pounds yesterday. My scale is not that accurate, but it does have a range of accuracy. I feel bewildered as to how I'm stuck at this high weight. I probably should see a doctor, as it has something to do, at least in part, with menopause happening. I have insurance but can barely afford the co-pay! I believe in doing things as inexpensively and without assistance as possible, so we'll see. Thanks for being here, 200ville, but I want to leave here as soon as possible.

I am back! I was here a couple of years ago and two pounds away from leaving. Then something unexpected happened. I became a mom and I forgot about my weight for a while and the weight started creeping back on me so now I am back here but not to stay! :)

I'm a 57 year old woman that has a total of 92 lbs to lose to reach a decent weight where I can possibly get off of blood pressure pills and also not hurt so much from RA of the spine. I've been told by my doctor that the less extra weight I'm carrying the less stress there will be on my joints. I don't expect to lose it fast. It took me 8 years to put on all the weight. My goal is to drop 2 lbs every month and keep it off til I reach my 92 lb goal.
I am married to Bob and he's just had to get a pacemaker/defibrullator in March, and is still adjusting to having a very weak heart (20% heart strength), so I tend to stress over his health a lot, and when I'm stressing out, I tend to eat more than I should. So I will be working on making healthier food choices over time.

Hi, I'm back. Hope to be able to stay involved with sparkpeople this time around. Still having computer issues but will do what I can.
To those that don't know me and a reminder to those that do, I'm Vicki. I'm 57 years old and have about 68 lbs to lose. I only lost 6 lbs in 2013 so am really hoping to do much better this year.

Hi all! My name is Andi and I am very excited to have found the "ville"s at Spark! I have been over 200 for far too long and after my sister died last month at the age of 50 - I am more motivated than I have ever been to change my lifestyle for the better. She left 3 boys and a family that misses her dearly. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, I need all the support I can get. The scale said 203.8 this morning which is the lowest it has been in months and I am grateful. This is now day 11 of my new journey! The toughest day of the journey is always day one and today! Today is just a challenge waiting to be overcome with the perseverance of character that I have built here at Spark!

I have never wanted to be a loser more than I do now!! Happy losing everyone!

Hello hello! I am here because I once almost made it to the 300s - and it terrified me. So now that I'm about 40 pounds lighter than that - I think I'd like to make losing a habit. (note: to this day I don't know how I lost that weight, so I'm doing the next 100lb or so the hard way emoticon ) I am a massage therapist, an MS and Diabetes patient with narcolepsy and occasional insomnia, and I am actually mostly loving my life these days - even when I really have to push myself to work out!

Hi everyone, My name is Jackie. I am hoping to be out of here by the end of November. The last time I stepped on the scale I was 203. My bathroom is being fixed so my kids and I are couch hopping til we have running water. It has been 2 weeks now and I am scared to step on the scale. The persons house I am living at has so much junk food. I have not had any self-control. Today is a new day. Going to stay at my fathers for the weekend. Hopefully I can get some control before we have to go back. I am going to get back on track this month. Starting today. I just don't have a scale to step on so that my have to wait til I can get home. I am hoping I haven't gone to out of control.

43 pounds gone means I am here! 208.8 lbs this morning. Woohoo! I spent too long in the 210s (not a lot going on there) and no offense, but I'm already ready to leave this one behind too. I suspect it'll take a little time, but that's ok -- I'm in it for the long haul! :)

I guess I'm the only one here. It's been like that in the last 3 villes. I finally got my act together. I'm down 1 lb. It seems every time I come close to onederland which hasn't been to many times I sabotage my own efforts. I started using the food tracker & it's working. Two more lbs. & I will have a weight loss of 70 lbs. My DD is starting to take notice of the weight I'm losing & she is back on her diet. I wish I could get her to join SP. I know it would help her. I have 9 lbs. to go till blast off! emoticon So let the countdown begin! emoticon emoticon

I already visited 200-ville... last year =) But I am so glad to be back as I visited instead 210-ville and 220-ville! Honestly, it wasn't very interesting...

Since I am taking my weight loss slowly, I hope to be out from here in November. I learned that putting too much pressure on myself is a bad idea!

It's my weigh in morning, and I can now say I officially belong here. I didn't quite get that the club was for 200-209.. At any rate, Hello. I am now at 209.8 and it's GAME ON!! Hi everyone. This is my year to tackle the last frontier: finding the real and beautiful me under the cover of a lot of extra weight and misconceptions. I just found this team and it suits where I am at the moment: traveling through the last 13 or so pounds (errr, miles) of 200-Ville. I have overstayed my planned time in this town, and I want to have some fun here before I leave, hopefully for good, with sweet memories. I have been having fun reconnecting with eating well, exercising regularly, and learning to LOVE WHERE I'M AT TODAY!! I'm also learning to celebrate each milestone along the way. I have 54 lbs to lose to be below 200 lbs so I'll be here awhile. But my hubby and I are trying hard to make 2013 the year we reclaim our health the best we can. We're going to the fitness center 3 times a week now and have really worked to make our meals healthier. We'll see over the next few months if we're doing enough.

Hi, I'm Lili. I've been weighing around 210-215 for about two years now. I've started on SP at 213 a couple of weeks ago and I was so happy to see 209.4 on the scale this morning! So I thought of joining you guys :)

Hi, my name is Sandy. I have been a member of sparkpeople for quite a while. I lost about 40 pounds and kept it off for quite a while. I came back to lose more weight, and I did, but it found me again. I had got to under 200 once a few years ago, but sadly have gained a lot back. I have started over several times. Then I realized that while I would start over and even log everything for a while... I would lose momentum faster than I would lose weight. Well, I finally had an epiphany... The reason I haven't stuck with it was I didn't have any real goals or strategies in place...

This time is different. I joined a challenge to get to under 200 by 12/31/2012, and I decided it was time to set some goals and make a plan. I believe that I can do this. And now I have determined what "this" is! One of the other people that joined the challenge are on this team, when I saw it on her sparkpage I decided to check it out. So, here I am. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you on our journey!

Well I am back again after having my Daughter almost 8 months ago! It's time I take care of me in order to take care of her and my almost 4 year old Son. I am 45 years old and need to seriously get healthy finally, I have a lot of chasing and running around I'll be doing and I'll need energy for! Hi All,
I'm Lynda from a place called Warrington in UK. I just weighed myself this morning & I am currently 205 pounds which makes a total weigh loss of 25.8 pounds so far. It has been over a while but the past few weeks I have been more intense & go on holiday soon so I think that has been spurring me on - we have 4 weeks until we go away & my aim is to of lost 35 pounds by then ...... I can do iiiiit!!

I have 2 little boys & I feel like I am getting more active with them already & people are now noticing that I have lost weight (which helps to keep me going)

Also thinking in terms of what my weight loss actually weighs is helping..... My youngest weighs just over 22lbs!!! So knowing I have lost a little more than what he weighs amazes me because at times he feels heavy!!

Good luck to everyone & hope you don't stop in 200 ville for too long x x

Hi Team! Just joined the team today and am working my way down to Onederland. I started at my heaviest weight of 246.0 lbs and am currently down to 240.6 lbs. My ultimate goal was just over 100 lbs to lose but I'm trying to look at it in much smaller increments. One day at a time!!!

Hi! I was so close last November to breaking through to Onederland. I was at 204 which was the lowest I had been in decades! Since then I have yo-yo'd and hung out in the two-teens for months! Most recently I topped back up to 220. Depressing days! emoticon My most recent weigh in was 219. I so want to break through and get where I haven't been in 20+ years!
