Hello every one, I am new to this team and have been a long time "whole foodie", cook from scratch type for many years. I am trying to find ways of increasing my healthy recipe box - lately have been making my own great soups beef broth based (from my own meaty broth) and vegetable barley every other week, alternating with chicken soup my moms favorite. I am finding this has been great for a healthy low caloric intake and very satisfying too - great for a quick lunch or dinner - I even do a lettuce soup for breakfast (just by adding chopped lettuce to any of my home made soups) great start for the day.
