I'm aiming to lose 54 lbs overall and am about 20 pounds into that goal (WOOHOO!!!).
Just be patient with yourself, and decide that you are going to let nothing stop you from achieving the goal.
I find the nutrition tracker of utmost importance in helping me lose this first 20 lbs. I suggest you use it every chance you get (there's a free mobile app for iPhones), so you can be aware of all the foods you're putting into your body, whether good or bad.
Spend as much time as you can looking around the site. I like reading the blogs and success stories (under the "Community" menu) because they serve as reminders that they are people just like us, who struggle, but who continue on to their goals despite the odds!
