Welcome to the team. There is so much information on Sparkpeople that you will be successful. Also, you do not have to give up taste and good food to lose weight. You just have to learn to adjust it to your needs. What to eat when, all in moderation. I have not given up anything that I really like, but I have learned there are so many things that are not good enough for we to waste my time eating. My favorite is barbeque ribs. I have 2 to 3 depending on size about once a month. I have a large salad or maybe mixed fruits with them. I have not given them up, but I have adjusted how I eat them and I do not want to pig out on them like I have done in the past. We are all here to support you in this journey
