Thanks for the input. I'm finding the food journal to be very useful in managing calories and it's easy to use. It's a wake up call for anyone who's never done that before.

That's a good idea! I hope someone comes forward.

For now, entering your daily report on your blog will "hold" you accountable to your readers. Portion control is a habit to develop. If you're consistent, after a while, it will become second nature and you won't want more. Making sure you don't wait until you're famished to eat something also helps.

I'm looking for a weekly buddy to share our food/exercise journals with for motivation purposes. My goal is to have someone to share food ideas, encouragement and accountability. I've found it a bit more difficult to over consume when I know someone else will be seeing my daily log. I already have healthy food habits, but love to eat and my portions are making it difficult for me to lose my last 10 pounds.
