My first round with phen, I did not lose weight the first week. I also was starving! I had to play around with my timing of breakfast & pill to discover what worked best for me. My doc told me to take my phen on an empty stomach in the morning. I figured out that for me it works best if I eat a good breakfast first then take my pill 2 hours later (around 10am). Then I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to eat every 3 hours.

I'm a big advocate of protein. I highly recommend have some protein with every meal & snack. If you have an apple the add some peanu butter with it, or a stick of cheese, some almonds, etc.

Keep after it.

I have to admit my water intake is not the best at all. I will definitely increase it and also add some protein to my breakfast. Thanks Raquel

Hi.. don't worry everyone is different. I do know people who didn't lose any weight when they first started on phentermine. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, especially with how often you are exercising because it could be water weight your body is holding on to. Also.. eat protein for breakfast within 30 min of waking up.. this will get your metabolism started for the day. Best of luck!

I started phentermine 37.5 a week ago and I haven't lost a single pound. I have been reading all kinds of posts where people are losing quite a bit their first week and I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong? I do jazzercise(aerobics) at least four times a week and I also jog three to four times a week. I have changed my eating habits and often have to force myself to eat. Has anyone else experienced no weight loss during the first week?
