I know what you mean about the snacks. I pack healthy snacks like veggies & hummus, yogurt, nuts, avocado, fruit etc. I chug tons of water at work and school and make it a goal to drink a cup of green tea daily. I was a coffee and chain smoker girl. I feel soooo much better omg. If I can do it anyone can. You can totally quit and still loose weight! Also no pressure, do it when you are ready and really want to. I caught a cold and was smokin still and my throat and lungs hurt SO damn bad. I was Caughing so much crap out of my lungs. Omg i was really feeling so unhealthy..That was it for me!
I am planning on it. I have no motivation to quit. I am thinking about trying e cigs and seeing how they work I just decided to join and see what works best for others. I think mostly I smoke when i am bored after I eat and in my car... i don't like the smell of cig smoke and i see what It does to people I hope that I can get to this goal along with my others

Great job on what you did today and of course on working so hard in schools and working full time :-) I am also doing the same thing. Are you quitting smoking?
So I am supposed to introduce my self i guess. My name is April im 25 soon to be 26 and i have always been overweight recently i was loosing weight and now i am gaining it back. I really want to have a healthier lifestyle. I work full time and i am going to school full time so it really seems so much easier to grab something on the go and I am always feeling so hungry and unsatisfied. Some times I also eat out of sheer boredom. I drink alot of soda and energy drinks and have a weakness for sweets. I feel like if I don't make a healthier lifestyle change it will end up killing me or causing me to have health problems. I really lack motivation I am hoping this site will help me with that. So far this is my first day and everything has been good. I went for a long walk and i have been eating healthier and this morning had my last soda! To me that is insane since I almost feel like I am adicted to Mt. Dew. even tho I am still within my calorie range where I should be I still feel hungry. I really hope I can curb that craving and start making changes for the better :) I also hope to make some new friends with common goals. Its nice knowing I am not alone.
