I've just joined Sparkpeople with a goal to lose 60 pounds over the next year. I love to get outdoors and hike whenever I can and the Pacific NW offers ample opportunity for plenty of incredible hikes. However, my work travel and not so great eating habits have added 60 pounds and that doesn't help matters any when I want to do a long hike. I've discovered geocaching along with my hiking to try and conquer the weight gain but the sedentary job while traveling and poor eating seems to have taken over. I hope Sparkpeople and it's resources will help get me on the right track to losing and keeping off the weight. I think my 13 month old will appreciate it and I know I will to
