I don't walk outside in the winter anymore, got slight frostbite on my fingers a few years ago. I do walk at home DVDs that I can rent at library. Also, just found Leslie Sansone's WalkatHome website. They have workout Videos on the site you can use for free, plus some to buy.
Here's the link to her WalkatHome website.
Also, here's a website where you can buy all kinds of exercise videos
Kathy Smith is another favorite of mine for exercise videos.
The best to you on your journey!

I try to sometimes make a game out of my walks and I'll jog to the nearest light pole or 3 light poles up or then sprint to one, jump over speedbumps and jump/jog a bit. You can also try adding ankle or wrist weights and really pump your legs/arms.
I will be where I want to be one day, but I'm the only one who can make it happen!
My life is a work in progress and eventually I will master the skill!
Have you thought about doing lunges while you walk? Sometimes when I walked at the park, I would do a lap of lunges. You can also pump your arms, it def gets the heart rate going!

Wanted to say hello and introduce myself I am from Southern part of this great state and am looking forward to being on this team.
Will be posting for any ideas for excerise outside of the gym. I have been walking with my dog but wondering if anyone has ideas on how to increase intensity beside making the walks longer.
