back Sharon! Actually, the 5 is a combination of both fruits and veggies. And yes, however, you can get them in is good. It is better to eat a fruit for a snack than a bag of chips or something from the vending machine. I like to have applesauce sweetened or unsweetened. I also like the Del Monte fruit cups. They can get them in the produce section or in the aisle. Of course you can make a smoothie (good snack), and something I really like is to blend a banana and a cup of milk. I've been on a vanilla soymilk kick for awhile. I also, like almond milk, and coconut milk.

Sharon - I am truly not a voice of knowledge here but I believe you can put the fruits and vegetables anywhere throughout the day and they do not have to be your snack. I often have almonds as my snack but have the F&V in my meals. Hope that helps
I am returning after 4 months. I got introduced to SP through the 'Fitness' magazine and I could not believe the things that I could access and do without paying a dime. Here is my problem: I am a snacker - I created a fast break goal to eat 4 snacks per day - but I need fruit - 5 daily. Will that be a part of my snacks? I am confused but I want to do the right thing this time.
