Using the site is an awesome way to stay motivated. As for not wanting to conversate with people on here, I can see why. The site is so awesome and I have never run in to any problems with talking with others. As far as you making seperate meals, do that and maybe eventually your husband will see your sucess and want to too. Thats what happened with me and mine. Keep up the good work, you can do it. This site will only help you.
I've been using sparkpeople off and on for a couple of years now. I've never really got into blogging or communicating with other sparkers. I still don't know if I want to be talking to strangers on here, but we'll see. I'm a stay at home mom with 2 beautiful girls. I've struggled with my weight for years. One of my main reasons for wanting to lose weight is so that I can have more energy to keep up with my kids. I have a hard time staying motivated since I've been home with my kids. Also my husband is a very picky and has a very bad diet. If I want to eat healthy, I end up fixing 3 seperate meals for dinner each night: one for my husband, one for the kids, and one for me. This is why I usually give up and just eat what's handy. My kids are getting up now, so I have to end this.
