Hi Michelle - and Welcome! I've been there with the herniated discs and I know what it is like to have to avoid exercise. Remember though that ALL movement is exercise and it all burns calories. If you can only move your arms, move your arms; if you can only wiggle your nose and squinch up your face, then do that it all counts a bit. Laughing is good exercise too!

Michelle, Welcome!!! I am looking forward to watching you reach your goal. I hope you will find activities you can do with your current limitations. You might want to consult your doctor on what activities will be good for you. I would not want to tell you to do a certain activity, and you would end up hurting more. Good luck!!!
Hi everyone, I am starting my diet on Monday. Want to loose 40 lbs by 1/16/2014. At least that is what Spark suggested. I want to do it by December 15. I have a challenge for myself,lol. I can't do anything strenuous at the moment. I am getting over 5 herniated discs and sciatica. Any useful tips are appreciated. Does anyone have a "low suger" or "low carb" food list?
