I'm 43, live in Cincinnati, and am taking some beginner steps to lose weight and get fit.
My goal is to lose 37 pounds, and also to increase my fitness and flexibility. I eat and drink too much, have too much stress in my life, and don't exercise enough. I need, and want, to make changes - and I am determined to do so.
I probably won't impress anyone with my methods; I'm going to be the turtle, not the hare, in this race - but that feels like the right way for me to go right now.
I'm looking forward to meeting new friends here at SparkPeople, and helping each other achieve our goals!
