Hi Mindy! I've noticed by looking at your ticker we are pretty much in step with what we want to achieve!
I am married, no children and a very spoiled cat named Buddy. I love my job, but it is also a desk job and I probably average 10 hour days. I love my hubby, but he is not particularly supportive when it comes to me losing weight. He keeps telling me he loves me just the way I am. I also have a mom who is a wonderful cook and worries that I'm sick if I don't have at least 2 platefuls of food (She worries about my brothers the same way, but because they have active jobs they are not overweight.)
I've gained and lost the same weight several times over the past 20-25 years and would like to be able to keep it off for good. While I have only lost 1 lb. during the 3 weeks I have been a SparkPeople member, SP has helped me start setting priorities and looking forward instead of worrying I'm going to fail again.
