Sorry it took so long to welcome you. I'm relatively new to this group, too, even though I've been on Spark for a few years, on and off.
I, too, have re-started many times but this time I've decided to make it stick. I *will* have days where I hit the skids (also known as "cookieville"), but being as I expect it and know it will happen, I'm ready to forgive myself and move on VERY quickly. I've just decided I'll do my best to balance out my eating and not go wild with the idea that "well, I've already blown it, so I might as well go eat an entire cake...every week for the rest of the year."
With that in mind, know that many people on this site are exactly where you are. We've ALL been there. Just stick to this site, and promise yourself this time that you won't give up on your effort to get yourself healthy.
As for Chipotle - try this option if you HAVE to have it:
burrito bowl - NO RICE
salsa (whatever kind)
corn salsa - this is your grain
guacamole ON THE SIDE (this way you get a good portion instead of too much)
(no cheese, no sour cream)
You'd be surprised at how tasty this is. I'm not sure the calorie count, but it hits the spot!
Best wishes to you - hope you find someone in Sandusky to walk with (I'm down near Cincinnati).
"You have to fall in love with the process of becoming great." - Oklahoma Sooners basketball coach Jeff Capel
It's been almost a month since I joined Spark and this team and I am finally getting around to introductions. My name is Ashley, I am 27 and live in Sandusky, Ohio aka Cedar Point. I have 70lbs to lose and want to do it by changing my entire lifestyle so that don't fall back into my Chipolte binges after I lose. I often call myself the Queen of Failed Diets. Some lasting less then 18 hours. I love to read mostly paranormal and scifi, I love to talk, and I am a very busy mama who has two little girls that I am constantly running around. Would love to talk with some other Buckeyes and set up some play dates that will force me to get out and about on the weekends.
