Welcome!! Sparkpeople is a wonderful resource with lots of amazing people and excellent support to help you on your journey. I started with small steps. The first two weeks all I did was focus on logging food (not changing what I ate, just getting it all written down). Then I worked on drinking more water since I realized I was drinking maybe 4 cups a day. Then I worked on adding in more fruits.
You get the idea. Small steps really will get you started without overwhelming. You can do it. Feel free to friend me too.

Just signed on. I did not know there was such a community for free. I have struggled since I was 20 now 37 and I am an emotional eater. Then when I eat what I should not eat I get depressed that I ate it so I eat more. Dumb huh? I feel better when I eat better but for some reason it just seems easier not to eat right. I hope to be healthier and feel good. I am so happy to find you guys.
