My gracious you have been through a lot! You are in the right place. It seems like a pretty slow journey sometimes, and I'm discovering that most of it is mental/emotional. Just work on one thing at a time. It's not a temporary program, it's a lifestyle change. Be good to yourself!

I am a female over 60, widowed 2 years ago, took early retirement, sold my home, etc. etc., hit all the depression markers within 6 months. I am a health care provider and went back to work for a day or two per week to keep my brain alive, am not ready for retirement! But food is my comfort and one of my favorite things to do!
My weight gain actually started back when I quit smoking, was already 20# over and then gained another 20#. I belong to the gym, Jenny Craig, and some other programs, have not done well on any. All due to ME not sticking to the program, start off well, lose a few pounds and then get down and eat whatever I want.
Am hoping to find another route to reach my goals, need motivation!!!
