While I don't have children, I can empathize with a not-so-helpful partner! My boyfriend loves all things fried and passionately dislikes vegetables. He jokes all the time about the weight he has put on over the last 2 years, and makes fun of me and my "veggie food". Luckily he is very supportive of my running, just as long as I don't ask him to come with! And he rolls his eyes every time I suggest a walk or any kind of physical activity really.
So it comes down to your own internal motivation, and you're in a good place if you know you are doing this for the most important person in your life, YOU. No one else matters as much, because you're the one who has to live in your body. So that's great to decide to overcome any obstacle to take care of the only body you're given. Take it slow, small changes and substitutions do wonders over time. And never give up! If you slip and give in to the McDs drive through, get right back on track for the next meal. Dieting is a life-long process, not just a 2-week juice cleanse that then works forever!
Hang in there!

My name is Cheri & I'm really looking forward to meeting some wonderful people. I've never had a problem losing weight until after giving birth....lol
I've been on the weightloss roller coaster since high school & I'm ready to get off...permanently!
I'm doing this mainly for me, but also because I want to impact my children in a healthy & positive way. Ive become an emotional eater just over the last couple of years & I'm really sick and tired of the guilt that comes along with that.
Unfortuneately I don't get the support I'd like to have from my husband so I figured I'd try here. Im ready to take control of my life, stop the emotional eating, replace bad habits with good ones, & to just simply feel GREAT again!
