I'm still familiarizing myself with this website. I"m a retired R.N. and I especially enjoy the nutrition articles. I am one month shy of 60, and I am 5'1" tall, very small framed, and presently weigh 100 pounds. I lost approx. 45 pounds throughout the past 12 months; and I am finally back to my pre-menapausal weight of 100 pounds. I look at how eating fits into my life as: I love sharing food, meals, recipes, and especially cooking (I am Italian from a long line of excellent cooks) BUT, I especially enjoy feeling fit, being healthy and athletic pursuits. My goal is to keep my weight where it's at now; and that means I will continue to be vigilant about exercising and eating healthy foods. It's about the choices we make every day; and they will be different for everyone. There's no single right or wrong way to living a healthy lifestyle; it's what works for each individual.
