CMOORE466! Glad to have you aboard. Nice to hear you're walking with your dog. Even with this cold weather, you can still walk outside. My daughter, a Colorado mountain gal now, taught me to layer my clothing. And I joined a woman's hiking group. We hike one of Erie County's Metro Parks each Wednesday, come rain, shine, or snow! We've only cancelled twice in the last 2 years due to icy conditions on the roads and trails. Get those long- johns on, followed by a turtleneck, a hood sweatshirt and your coat, and hit the trails. Your dog will love you for it! Several of my hiking buddies bring their dogs and they've become fast friends - both the girls and the dogs!

Hello all! My name is Christine, and I've just joined, based on a glowing recommendation from a friend of mine. I'm 31, working on my Bachelor's degree (again, and I'm going to finish this time!), and I am the mother of an energetic, handsome, amazing Beagle named Marley. He is my heart. Can't wait for it to warm up so we can start taking longer walks!
