Welcome! I certainly have had failures at "diets" & why I decided to do things differently this time. What you said about changing your lifestyle has been my approach this time as well. Something I can live with & do always & anywhere.
So far I have been having some good progress & it has actually been easier than trying to follow some fad diet.
I have been at Spark about 10-11 weeks & I am still finding new things on the site, so don't feel bad.

Hi! This is Day 2 for me! I'm setting my goal for 30 pounds. I had never heard of the Spark site until I came across it by accident. I'm hoping to make a permanent lifestyle change. I'm also turning 40 in May and would like to be fabulous instead of frumpy! lol Good luck to you!

Hello everyone! Today is Day 1 for me here. I have at least 25 pounds to lose, starting at 25 pounds and will add as I reach this goal. I am looking forward to being a part of this group with people who are around my age and have the same or similar issues with previous failures at "diets". I want to change my lifestyle habits and this is my new beginning. It makes me feel better already to know there are others here who are willing to assist me with answers to questions and maybe words of encouragement when needed. Trying to figure out how to navigate this site so please be patient with me.
