What are you proud of? I now cook more than I order in, and that I actually started to enjoy preparing meals for my family, where before I found it an awful burden.
What do you wish you had done differently? I wish I didn't let myself get so lazy over the summer--putting the pounds back on.
What do you want to carry into the new year? Continue to be positive and optimistic and to believe that what I want is in the process of coming to reality. All that matters is this moment.
What do you to change in the New Year? Be more active--drink less alcohol.
What advice would you give to the many people who will join us January 1 to start their journey? Start small. The little changes are the ones that last. Even though I have gone up and down in my weight and motivation since I started, it is the small changes that still stuck and that made each step back nothing more than small slip. Mistakes are not failures, they are mistakes that you learn from, and move on from. Every day is a new beginning.
3 steps forward and 2 steps back still equals progress!

I am proud of many of the healthy habits I not only started but managed to keep. Water intake has been great, I hardly ever drink pop, and I had some self control at the local ice cream shop this summer (that God it's only open during the summer). I wish I would have worked out more. I need more ambition that's a big goal for 2012. I need to work on my drive. I also need to get back to portion control. I need to quit making excesses and just do it. My advice for the newbies is to stick with it and don't give up.

Lord help me remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I can't handle together.

The end of the year is upon us again and a new year is ahead of us. Take some time to reflect on this past year. What are you proud of? What do you wish you had done differently? What do you want to carry into the new year? What do you to change in the New Year? What advice would you give to the many people who will join us January 1 to start their journey?
