For Thanksgiving I do plan on cutting back on food intake.I have more fun making the meal anyway and keeping busy makes the time go faster.

Not sure if Ken's son and wife will be here so that will change our menu some.
We will make make healthier choices as Ken doesn't want to eat unhealthy foods. Just won't have much fat or too much sugar. We decorate the house on Thanksgiving day. emoticon emoticon emoticon

We decided to have a simplier, healthier but traditional meal whether we have company or not! We will have a couple of higher calorie items but make very small amount so portions will be small.

We don't have trick-or-treaters and we didn't buy any candy. I missed it but I have no control and would rather be skinny. We probably bought 4 bags of candy last year and ate it all. I eat Fiber one bars now instead of candy and just one a day! Much better for me and very satisfying.

Most of candy in my house is gone and what is left I don't like--yea.
Plan on a busy day with raking front lawn and playing with grand-daughter and probably playing against hubby on the wii frisbee golf. He loves it

Halloween candy is hurting me a little bit. I'm trying to keep it one a day as not to deprive myself too much. Today I did 30 mins of wii for 94 cals burned. So I burned off at least a Kit Kat.

We didn't buy any candy for Halloween. I went and rode my horse instead :) Thanksgiving will be here so we will have a lot of control over what we serve. It will be small just my SIL and her husband and my BIL. Don't have to worry about Christmas. We're Jewish and Chanukah is a minor holiday.

I, too, have recommitted for November. I am up 6 lbs from last November and it is driving me nuts. I work out like crazy and feel like I am going backwards, but I plan to change that.

During this month, keep us updated with your progress.

Could have been better for Halloween, but I still lost, so I didn't do too bad.....

I don't have to work Thanksgiving because the position change came with a Holiday change, so I don't know what the plan is going to be now.

Christmas we are doing at home because my oldest daughter is having a minor hand surgery and will be in double casts for Christmas.

Good morning team-
Sorry havent' been on so I best correct that. I did okay on Halloween since we don't buy much candy and not very many trick or treaters on our block.
As for coming holidays will just have to use more of my wii games and exercises and kind of embarrassed to admit how many dvds I have. The week of Thanksgiving I usually do a lot of baking so keep myself busy and with lots of pies to make I so enjoy it. I made pies and take up to family gathering the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I do apple, pumpkin and cherry pies.
Everyone have a good day- stay safe Betty

I did OK at Halloween. I, too, had my planned candy and am freezing the rest. That way, I know it's too hard to eat on a whim. And if I am good, I can take one piece out and that will be it.
As for the rest of the season, well, I have a cruise coming (never good for my diet), Thanksgiving isn't bad, we grill a turkey and I love turkey for dieting. Otherwise, I hope I can control myself and keep up my exercising.

I did okay with Halloween. Two planned pieces of candy.
I have recommitted in November. I am tracking everything I eat and trying to change up my exercise.
