Dear Self,

We are doing a great job of trying to change our lifestyle! We appreciate it! We need more veggies for our nutrition and to help heal those muscles that are working hard. Please try to work in at least 1 more serving per day!

Keep up the positive self talk - it's working! We LOVE running! It is an awesome exercise! Keep moving! Every step taken is one step closer to our goals! We will succeed!

Make sure we take our walk at lunch today! It is very important! Remember how good we feel after the scheduled exercise for the day is done. Keep up the good work!

You are so close to have lost 25% percent of the weight you want. Only 3 more pounds and you can do it. You will do this week what you did last week, just think what you will look like next summer. Remember, food is a fuel, nothing more.

Your birthday is on Friday the 19th of August...I just want you to know how far you have come in 8 months :) You went from 295 pounds to 224 pounds :) You started to Let go of the horrible control that food had on you! You have gained so much confidence and selfworth that we are NEVER going back to the way we used to be :) I know you know when enough is enough, please go easy on your birthday dinner and CAKE,

Stick to making healthy salads and limit eating out to twice a week at the most. Continue to vary your exercise to continue losing!

I did really good the last 3 weeks. Before that, I was eating out way too much. Too hard to control things when you eat out.

I want to lose 5 pounds in August as well. It would also be nice to lose an inch from my waist.

I think I did great on my food this summer. Better choices. Not so good on working out. Need to get back into it.
