I love my Wii! Have had it over 2 1/2 years and love to do my exercises on it. I have a few regular video games on it that I play every now and again, but mostly use my Wii for exercise. It is great for when the weather outside is not good- too hot, too cold, snow/ice, raining, etc. There is NO excuse for me to not get in some kind of exercise, and it is fun! I also have Just Dance 2, Wii Walk it Out, Wii Zumba, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, Wii Golds Gym Dance Workout, Wii Sports Resort.

Depends, we got the Wii for christmas - but its newness has warn off and we're back to what we where doing before it entered the picture (going to long walks/runs/rides) now the wii is more a game deal for him to play Zelda or what ever on then it is used for fitness (I almost got the biggest loser last month but couldn't justify the 25.00 for the dvd as being worth the cost for something I might or might not actually use).
I dusted off the your shape game and did a work out this morning. I had the sound turned way down so i didn't have to here -arms- -legs- please arms are in the right place you just don't see them right. Is there a second your shape? I still want to get a kinect.

Ok you got me thinking. Maybe I need to be more positive and stop thinking the grass is greener..... I do have my wee setup in a bigger area. I do have the game active 2 and it locks up. Think positive.

I love my wii. I have had it for years. What really opened up the wii-possibilities fr me was joining this team and joining the challenges on here. Right now I am doing the 'Amazing Race' and it is a blast. I think that if you find something to do and you enjoy it, then it is money well spent!

I have both the Wii and Kinect, and they both serve their respective purposes. The Kinect is still "new" so there aren't that many games for it, particularly fitness games. The Wii definitely has a better selection. Plus it's cheaper ... and the price will hold steady (and maybe drop) when the new Wii comes out next year.
I think the Wii will definitely keep you motivated, especially if you find games you enjoy that make you sweat. There are a lot of options, and we talk about a lot of them on this team, plus offer suggestions. I think no matter what you decide, you'll make a good choice!

Where do you live? and do you want to buy mine? I want a kinect. Test out the kinect before you buy anything. What might be fun is that you and your sister can play online with each other. I have never done that but it would be a reason for getting a wii over a kinect. Have fun. Lynn
My sister has a wii and we have so much fun, and since I have found out about wii fitness and the biggest loser for wii I seriously need a wii of my own, hoping to finally buy one with in the next few weeks after thinking about it for a few months. Would you guys say the wii helps you to stay more motivated to work out than not having a wii? So glad I found this team, thanks!
