to the team! Wii is fun to do and you don't even care how you look doing it because you're so focused on that character on the screen!
My family tends to take over the TV too, so I have decided to be a little heavy handed and just kick them off so I can do my Wii. I always invite them to join me and occassionally they do! It is fun when they participate. I have even beaten my 12 yr old daughter on some of the songs on Just Dance 2. She is always surprised when that happens.
Good Luck and Welcome!

Welcome to the team!! Isn't it great to have the support of your 2yo little brother? I have a 2yo daughter and she likes to watch penguin slide (on the wii fit plus). Even when I feel done doing it she will enthusiastically shout "AGAIN!". Nothing like little motivators!!!

I'm a newbie to the group as well as to Sparkpeople, so I'm really looking to meet new people to help me along the way to leading a healthier lifestyle as well as lose weight before July and a bit more after July - Got a holiday in July.
I own a Wii at my house and my Nan's house, so I should be able to go on there loads but unfortunatly my family often have TV programmes they want to watch. I tend to go on the Wii when my little brother, aged 2, says 'Shake your booty....Dancing' as he loves to watch the dancing.
I have access to Just Dance, Just Dance 2, Wii Dance Juniors (Brought for my Bro but only I do the Wii Dances with him), EA Active, EA Active: More Workouts, Wii Sports, Wii Fit Plus and a Wii Balance Board. However, it's the limiting space and TV time that stops me from being on the Wii loads.
Hopefully, I shall be able to go on the Wii sometime tonight at my Nan's house. If I do manage to get the Wii then I will most likely do one of the EA active games as I do the dancing games with my brother.
