I enjoy both the Wii Fit and Fit Plus as well. The last time I tried to use them those I kept getting a disk read error. It had been a while since I'd tried to use them. I need to look into this more and get them working again.

Hi! I got the Wii Fit Plus and The Biggest Loser Challenge last weekend. I haven't used the BLC yet but I've been enjoying the Fit Plus quite a bit.

I'm not technically new. But I haven't been around SP for months. I participated in a challenge or two the last time I was active.

I'm Carey and I'm from Arkansas. I'm married with two kids - a 14 year old daughter and a 9 year old son.

I have the Wii Fit & Fit Plus, Sports, Sports Resort. I've used each of these quite a bit. I also have the Biggest Loser and My Fitness Coach. I haven't used either of these much -- found it difficult to get past the start of each of these.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the challenges. The last time I was active on SP I lost 15 pounds. Unfortunately, I've gained all that and some back.

Dolly from Nevada (3 yr 3 mon out)- Just found this posting, My husband and I both had gbs 6 months apart. He has lost all the weight he needed to, but I am still struggling. Since Jan 2011 I have been in and out of the hospital. In 3 weeks and out 1 week. Going through Chemo Therapy for stage 4 bone cancer. Have 2 more treatments to go through. Needless to say have not been able to use the Wii yet. It is plugged in, but it is in black and white. Need to see if it is the cord. I have a newer tv and we picked up the Wii at a pawn shop at Christmas time. Like the idea of seeing if the library has them to check out first before I buy. Some of them can be so pricey on a limited budget.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Hi! We bought a Wii and Wii Fit Plus yesterday. We've been wanting one for ages and have had fun playing with them at friends' and family's houses.

Now I'm excited about the Wii and about the awesome challenges here. Yay!

Hi there!

We have had our wii for 3 years and LOVE it! The wii fit is awesome, Biggest Loser is great and our new addition is Just Dance 2 and I am constantly dancing! My kids are 12 & 14 and we compete for high scores. I love it so much, I have been neglecting the gym. My goal is to use the wii in the morning and go to the gym in the evenings, every other night.

So glad to join your group and learn about the other great games!

For me it's all the "squats" that are actually lunges. I have some knee issues, so the skipping is killer for me.

Actually what I need (for the colder months anyway) is a "lighter" game. I have Active 2, Your Shape, Zumba, and Biggest Loser as my primaries right now, with Wii Fit Plus as my only "light" workout. In the summer I will be able to get outside and do more (right now I am running 3 days a week, and outside most of them), but with 5 ft of snow on the ground any outside activities are pretty much dead.

Yes, I mean the total number of squats they sneak in under other names. A squat by any other name is still a squat :)

The skipping doesn't bother me, have to agree on those foot fires and mountain climbers tho!

Walk it out is fun, but it's much "lighter" than EAS. It's nice for warmups/cooldowns and for those days you're looking for a little bit easier or lower impact workout. I had to cut off all songs under 120 on the playlist, though, as they just seemed too slow.

Diane- the squats are nothing on Active 2- it's the foot fires, skipping, and mountain climbers that will kill ya! Unless you are referring to the mountain boarding/ biking sets- then I have to agree, they KILL.

I think I need to check out Walk it Out- I have been hearing a lot about it since I joined this group and it sounds fun.

My name is Diane, and I've had my wii for a few years now. I made a rule when I got it that I was only allowed to get / ask for active games for the wii, and as a result, I have almost every fitness/dance/high energy game for it.

Like lots of people, I went through a long inactive spell due to family issues in the past year or so--but now I'm starting to get back into it more. I started with walk it out, and have been into sports active 2 lately (those squats are killing me, though), with a little DDR mixed in for some extra cardio.

Hi my name is Katie. I got the Wii for Christmas and only started out with Wii sports and Mario brothers. I realized that I was getting a good workout playing the boxing portion on the Wii sports and Loved loved when my sister came to town and brought Just dance with her. I spent an hour playing with her and my girls sweating up a storm and not even realizing that I was having a blast and getting and awsome workout. Now I own a Just dance, wii fit and few other games that I love. Now my only problem is getting the wii fit away from my youngest daughter.

Hi! My name is AmyLynn and I found this group either this morning or yesterday. I use the wii fit plus and biggest loser for the wii. My 25lb lost goal is to purchase exerbeat for the wii. It sounds exciting and my 15yo dd is willing to play it with me!!! that is always a bonus. Oh, we also have Disney Grooves DDR, but I have a challenge with it as I feel that it only works one side of me. Though I do use the workout mode! Pleased to join you.

Hi my name is Heather and I have been on and off the spark for several years. I come and have a lot of success and then bam i just stop. I am currently signed up to walk a few charity walks this year so that should help keep me motivated at least through the end of the summer. My main training program is walking but I have cross train days that I do the wii or other activity. I LOVE my Zumba. I used to do the Wii Fit quite a bit but have not done that in a while since Zumba started. I also have Just Dance 2 and like that as well. Playing on the wii just does not seem mentally like exercise which is exactly the type of exercise I need to do; don't get me wrong my body knows it is exercise but the brain doesn't.

Hello!
I joined this team last week but I might not have time to really jump in until next week because my girls are out of school this week and we will probably be busy out and about having fun :) I wanted to get back into Wii Fit Plus again for my some added exercise because it worked well for me a year or so ago and I'm hoping to make it work for me again :) Besides, it's just plain fun :P
My name is Jennifer and I can't wait to get back to my Wii!

Hi, my name is Kristi and I just joined today. I have the Wii Fit, Just Dance 2 and a Wii boxing game. I love the Just Dance 2. I don't have a lot of time for exercise and the Wii makes it easier for me to get my exercise in. I know once the weather gets nicer outside, I will be able to get outside more. I am excited to be a part of this team.

Hello! I think I joined last month, but haven't gotten around to posting yet. My name's Melissa, but Peach is fine.
I was never small, but had gotten to a really good place, weight-wise, 3 years ago, when my thyroid went wonky. I gained 138 lbs and ended up at almost 390 lbs. I am still much closer to that number than I would like to be, and I just can't figure out how to make it move.
Anyway, me and the wii... I tend to use Just Dance 2 the most, and I try for 3 songs a day. I like some of the sports and sports resort too (I think the archery is my favorite there. It's funny because I've done archery in the real world, and it's so much easier on the wii.). I'm currently too heavy for the wii fit (stupid limit *grump*). I used it before and liked it.
So, wishing all a great weekend.

I stand watch for hope, and hope for it not to desert me.
ET

Hi - just joined and just got a wii. It was my mom's (she won it in a contest) she and my dad never really got into playing it, so they gave it to us. We have wii sports and wii fit.
We are on the waiting list at the library to borrow the games there so we can try them out and see what we like.

Hi everyone..I am new to the team.started working out to Walk It Out about a month ago.I love it and that is saying something coming from a 60 year old grandmother.I was working out too hard to it trying to keep up to some of the faster songs.I ended up with shin splints so now I am easing up on it some. Finally adding some of the slower paced songs to move to.

My name is Nancy and I'm from West Virginia.I live in the Eastern Time Zone.

Hi all! My name is Karen and I just joined this group yesterday. I was glad to find you as I am really enjoying Wii Fit and Zumba. I am working on incorporating exercise into my life and find that Wii is a great way to do it. I am on week 3 of a streak of doing wii yoga, advanced step and zumba daily. I have just started introducing the exercises to strengthen my core. I started at 10 minutes a day and am now up to 30-40 minutes a day. I am really excited because this is the longest streak of exercising I can remember and I am enjoying it. I joined because I want to connect to others using wii to share experiences and stay motivated.

Hi all! I just joined today and I enjoy my Wii Fit Plus daily for at least 25 minutes. That is my total body workout then I usually play some of the aerobics games (Super Hula Hoop, running, biking, etc.) for another 20 minutes. My other workout of choice is Just Dance 2. We got it for my youngest daughter for Christmas and I think I use it more than she does now! Haven't really looked at any other 'workout' games, but will now that I have been reading about different ones on the message boards.

Hi, I'm Steph, and I'm just re-discovering DDR for Wii's workout mode. I also have EA Sports Active and My Fitness Coach for the Wii, but I have a tough time keeping the leg strap on (it fits fine, it just doesn't stay...). I think DDR is going to be a good addition to my cardio for the day.

Hi! My name is Liz, and I LOVE my Wii! I am presently doing Active 2, Wii Fit Plus, active Life Outdoor Challenge, Biggest Loser, Zumba, Jillian Micheals's fitness ultimatum 2009, and your shape for exercise- I have other games that are good arm workouts, but I don't really consider them workout games. I probably should add the Wii Sports, and mario and sonic at the summer games in too, but I plain and simply forget that I have them, and more consider them games than a workout.
