How sweet of your husband to get the Wii for you. I am an at-home exerciser too and love the Wii and the workout games I have for it. I do not find it boring at all & I hope it works out that way for you too.

Hi! Brand new to spark people. Well, I'm tired of being fat. and gyms..well...they scare me.

Simply put, I'm embarrassed to go to one, even the YMCA down the street because well..I'm fat, too big for most of the machines, can't find a swim suit that fits me, I'm intimidated by all the skinny little things that can keep up with the instructor in their matching outfits and I feel like my rolls of fat would make me look like a freak.

I've tried workout videos before on my own, and I have a nice collection but I've gotten bored of them because of well...no variety.

My main issue with the workout videos is that I get pissed off looking at all the skinny models in the workout video in their matching workout gear, makeup and perfectly done hair barley breaking a sweat doing the routine perfectly while I'm sprawled out on the floor in a puddle of sweat after 10 minutes barley able to lift my arms.

SO...my hubby bless his heart went out and bought me a WII. Well, two of them. One new one and a gently loved barely used one for me and several used games. He gave me his wii's copy of Wii sports Resort and Wii Sports. And bought me a copy of My fitness coach. And I tried it. and I'm in love!!

I tried the wii sports last night, played a round of tennis and boy did it workout my back!! OUCH!! But I loved it. Now I'm excited to try out the other wii sports games we've got. And my fitness coach..I've done it twice now, two 15 minute sessions and though I can barely keep up so far each routine has been very different. So, I'm quite happy.

I'd love to meet everyone as I get settled into spark people and maybe make some friends.
