Hello All I am new to SparkPeople as well as this team, I found the site by chance and am thrilled to have it to help me. I use my Wii for at least 30 min a day cardio. I have the Wii Fit, EA Sports Active, My Fitness Coach, Golds Gym Cardio Workout and the Wii Sports games, the first 3 are my favorites. I have 95 pounds to go to reach my goal and will rely on these games to use as tools to get there. I look forward to meeting my fellow Wii users

Hi everyone, my name is Sarah. I love playing wii. It seems more like playing than working out. I only have wii sport as far as fitness goes on the wii right now. I do plan to get the wii fit soon.
Hi! I'm Holly and I love my Wii and my Wii fit... I just need to spend more time with it. :)

Hi, all! I've had my Wii and Wii fit for some time, but hadn't seen this group until now. The Wii has been in my 12yo daughter's room, but I am thinking of moving it out into my fitness room. I hate having to pick up her room to be able to use it, so too often I just don't! My dh also bought me the EA Sports active, but I don't have the sports game that comes with the Wii; it never worked when we got the Wii.
Anyone have problems with using the balance board on carpet? Thanks!

I have always enjoyed playing Wii, but never thought to buy one for myself, as I have no kiddies and just didn't feel that I would have the time to play on my own time. However, I've been hearing such great reviews on the WiiFit Plus and that is what sold me. I just purchased a Wii System...Black with Wii Sports Resort and WiiFit Plus.
I'm new to this team. I'm hoping this will get me to use my Wii for my excercising because that is one area I shirk on so wish me luck.

I'm not a SP Newbie, or a Wii Newbie - but new to this team!
I have consistently been using my Wii for exercise for about 2 months now. My Wii Fit says it is day 730 for me though! However, when I got it back out in March, I only had a few hours log time, and less than an hour on the EA Active.
Now I have about 15 hours on the Wii Fit Plus, I was using it for about 30 minutes a day, but since I started my 30 day challenge on the EA Active I haven't been doing it as much.
I just got Just Dance as well, and Walk it Out will be here today I think (thanks to the notification that it was on sale!)
I've lost 15 lbs in the past 2 months using the Wii, and then adding 30-60 minutes of my exercise bike as well.
Ok - well I guess I could also say my name is Christy and I'm glad to be a part of this team!

Hiya, I'm an old newbie in that I originally joined in 2007 but struggled to get my head in gear. I've been back a couple of times since, often a few months at a time.... but this time I want to make permanent changes to my lifestyle so I intend sticking around. I have Wii fit plus and sport. Plus my mini bedroom set out as my personal gym... so no excuses eh? I need to make these changes for my own life and sanity and I'm hoping to learn to make moving my butt fun!

Hi everyone - have had the Wii and Wii Fit for about a year. I have been using it off and on but now have the Wii Fit Plus and the EA Active. This week I started the 30 day challenge on the EA Active and plan to use the Wii Fit Plus on the rest days.

Just joined the group yesterday. Been away from Spark for a while. My son bought him a Wii in January, and we've been enjoying it.
Considering getting the Fit+, but haven't spent the money on it yet.
I'm new here as well, though today was my 31st day of doing at least the weigh in on my Wii Fit Plus! I've been doing some sort of Fit Plus workout daily, with the exception of Sundays. I believe I've only missed two other days. I've worked up to doing 30 minutes of Yoga first (if you are really out of shape, don't let anyone tell you yoga isn't working out!!) and then I rotate between strength exercises and aerobics. Yesterday was the first day I put in a full hour, so I considered that a victory.
I've recently gotten EA Active and have a Yoga and Pilates DVD, that I'm going to start adding in to mix things up. I already had a slightly heavier band for the Active and have both the one that came with it (for the over the head exercises) and the heavier band attached. I found it pretty easy my first attempt to just choose which one to step on depending on the exercise.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better and using the board to stay motivated and get new ideas!

Hello, team! I'm a 65yo grannie who ordered my Wii and the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board last fall following triple bypass surgery. I don't use it as much as I need to, but I am exercising a WHOLE LOT MORE than I used to. That's a victory!
Has anyone used the Aerobic Step accessory? I received one for my birthday last month and discovered that you DON'T want to do your weigh-in with it in place if you want an accurate reading! I really liked the number until I figured out that it wasn't correct!
I've seen Wii Fit ages ranging from 22 to 83. Usually do the simple test, so I'm not sure how old it thinks I am today!

Hi team.. I have Wii Fit Plus with board that I really haven't used so this would give me a chance to put it to use and learn the different games on there. What a great idea for a team ..
