My favorite wii exercises are the yoga poses, hula hoops and steps. I typically do the wii after I run (thus my screen name). Sometimes it's hard to do because I'm already hot and sweaty and less motivated to work out "a second time" but I'm doing good this week. It's been good to see my weight and BMI go down slowly.

We would like to make sure that each new member is welcomed warmly into our team. To help us accomplish this, we would like to start a group to help us welcome our new members.
Right now, besides the welcomes on the boards, Mommy_T and I both send emails automatically to our new members and I make it a point to give our new members a "welcome banner" SparkGoodie to those that have SparkPages; but we would like help with this.
We would like our new members to have warm welcomes to the team. I'm all for giving new members multiple sparkmail messages, comments on their sparkpages, and sparkgoodies from multiple members so they can see just how great a team we have.
From the "welcome wagon", what we would like each "welcomer" to do is as follows:
1. On the right side of your computer, (Under Quick Links), click on "my spark teams". On this page, check the box that states "new member notification" for this team. You will now receive an email whenever someone joins our team.
2. When you get an email informing you we have a new member, *either* a)send them a sparkmail, b)leave a message on their spark page, *or* c)give them a sparkgoodie welcoming them to the team. You can do more than one of these if you'd like, but we would like one of these to happen from each welcomer.
3. When a new member posts in the "Introduce Yourself" forum, reply to their post welcoming them to the team.
4. Comment and subscribe to the "monthly Newbie" thread (currently "July Newbies" but will change each month) to welcome new members that post here instead of in the "Introduce Yourself" thread.
If you would like to be part of this welcome wagon, please post here (or sparkmail me) so we know how many "welcomers" we have.
Thanks in advance to everyone who would like to take part in this aspect of our team.
Edited to Add: No one will be turned away from the Welcome Wagon. If you'd like to do this, please let us know and start welcoming our new members.
Current "Welcomers" (thanks so much): SecondChance2Lv Moffee WilliamAndMom StarGoddess
Edited to add: Anyone can welcome our new members. We WANT others welcoming newbies to our team. We're asking for volunteers to help us welcome (we're just going to call those that would like to do the 4 steps listed above to be called the Welcome Wagon - even if you don't want to join the welcome wagon, you can still welcome newbies to our team in any way you want). Please feel free to welcome anyone you want. We want our new members to feel a very warm welcome and the way we do that is to have MANY people welcome them.
We've noticed that some people do welcome on the boards and we love that. We would like MORE involvement from our members in welcoming newbies to our team. I only listed what the leaders are currently doing to let our team know what has been happening to welcome new members, to let the team know that we would like your help with this, but NOT to discourage anyone from welcoming newcomers to our group.
Everyone, Please feel free to welcome the newcomers to our group.
