I saw a chart showing the calorie-burning estimates for Wii Sports. Boxing was at the top, followed by tennis, bowling, baseball, and then golf. Has anyone seen a comparable estimate for the Wii Fit exercises?
Oops. I think I was supposed to come here first. Sorry, folks. Mary in West Virginia here, but you can call me Java. I'm LOVING the Wii and Wii Fit. Though I had BIG trouble finding the Wii Fit. Hard to come by. I was wondering if there's anyone on these Wii boards that is of larger size like myself. I'm morbidly obese, been that way nearly all my life, but I'm LOVING the Wii and specifically the Wii Fit. Love it! Love it! Love it! Unlocking more things every day. On it sometimes, an hour a day. Go Turtle go!
I find it amazing that this "game" is really doing what it is hyped to do. My balance has gotten MUCH better in just the week and a half that I've been using it. My wii fit age now fluctuates between 3 years older and 7 years less (much better than the 14 over when I first started).
I hope you're finding all the encouragement and motivation you need to succeed. We're glad to have you.

I have been using the Fit for about a month now, mixing it in with my other exercises (I need constant variety or I get bored and stop :)). My favorites are the yoga, strength training, free step and boxing programs.
I have unlocked almost everything -- there are still some of the challenges on strength training and the advanced levels of some things. I can definitely tell a difference in my balance and endurance since I began.
My husband and I also enjoy the regular Wii boxing and tennis. I really get into them so it definitely becomes a workout!
