They say it takes 3 weeks to develop a habit. So commit to healthy eating and exercise for 3 weeks. Not 6 months. Not 2 years. 3 weeks. Anyone can do 3 weeks. You'd be surprised. After 3 weeks, you'll feel great. Your clothes will start fitting better. And it will be a habit - you'll feel guilty for even thinking about not going to the gym. And you'll actively seek out ways to cut bad calories.
Don't worry about the scale. 2 weeks ago I lost 0.5 lbs (I'm shooting for 2 lbs/week). The following week 4.5 lbs doing exactly the same things. This isn't some black box or "magic" pill. If you exercise and eat right, you will lose weight and get in shape. It's as simple as that (believe me, I've done this before - lost 150 lbs - and too much beer and not enough gym got me right back to where I started). I know the formula works, so I'm back on the wagon.
