Hello, I have been here at SP since January 3, 2010; but, I took a schmall hiatus because I felt that I needed to regroup and figure out what my priorities are. I'm an undergrad student right now, and will have a BS in psychology May 2014 - after that I am transferring to USC (Univ of So. Cal - go Trojans!) to get an MSW.
I'm so happy to have found this team, and I hope that I will be able to find the camaraderie and support that I need - as well as to be able to give that to others here. I notice that there is no team leader here. Does nobody that is here regularly want to take that on? I would consider it, after I have learned my way around the team, if nobody else wants it.

I'm been a social worker for 30+ years. I'm new to SparkPeople, but unfortunately not to dieting. My motto for 2013 is "Nothing changes unless YOU make it change." This IS going to be year that I make changes that last!! Good luck to all of us.

It almost seems like yesterday when I started college after being out of school for 20 years. I loved being a nontraditional student and now want to create a healthy lifestyle for myself and my children! I look forward to getting to know you all! Lets go team!!

Hi everyone! My name is Vikie and I am an up and coming BSW for the December 2012 class! I'm currently working in my field placement at a local community action agency but I've worked in social services as a case manager for about a year and a half. I've struggled with my weight for my entire adult life (I'll be 30 tomorrow) and I decided that I needed some support and here I am. I'm so glad to be here and I'm excited for some positive changes!
