Up, what is that, new concept to me. Now just not the spasms, which the docs only know how to give you meds to avoid, but don't seem to know what to do when they happen! Now my Provigil does not seem to be working. I can't win, I'll going to bed early tonight! Actually this afternoon!

Ok Greenie and anyone else who cares to answer. I am having bad muscle spasms, they started right after I began working out again. Someone mentioned the Leslie Sansone walk at home DVD's, they are wonderful, but my calves will tighten up like a Charley horse and not relax. To the point I have gotten physically ill from it. And today my left shoulder is making me miserable. I have even woken up from these Charley horses, cause they will hurt so much. Heat helps, but because of the MS I cannot use a lot of heat! I guess stretching more should help, but I'm getting afraid to do that too much. My body is my enemy right now

Yes KATLORAX I agree it is hard and I still remember also, you all ways will. However to the future you have to face and in reality it is what it is and we will have to make the best of it. I really had to struggle with the copaxone I did not have the normal amount of sites as most because I was burned as a child 3rd degree and I was getting down to only a few spots that I could use so the pill came out just in time for me. I also was the skinny one how ever I really had to work at getting back to being thin but will never be as thin age and the MS have done there work. I am right now struggling to drop again is so hard for me to stay thin the change in life really did it's job on me and to hold it where I want to be is so hard I so enjoy food LOL which is not a good thing I guess. I had to go back to work and I do move a lot but it is not enoiugh I guess but I can't do any more hours than I am, it is taking it's toll on me.

Hey Greenie,
I'm still wrapping my mind around, needing to exercise I never HAD to before, I walked the half mile to and from work, I walked the dog, then I had a job were I walked all the time, now I have a sit at a desk all day job. It is a whole new mindset for me to work through. But I was reading a Motivation on here(This Site) and they mentioned walking inside with the Leslie Sanzone(?) DVD's so I got some, they are great, I just need to find the time, it is always something. Amazing you could take Copaxone for so long, I only took it for 6 months and that was 9 months ago and I still have marks from where I injected! I feel the worst part of MS is you can remember what you COULD do before!

KATLORAX hi this is GREENIE, you visited my site. Yes I was on copaxone for seems like a hundred years then Tecfidera came on and my neurologist said time for a change I do have the itching in the face but after a while that so eases off and now I don't even think about it and if it does itch goes away so fast. And it is holding things really good just like the copaxone did. I just could not after over 27 years deal with another needle every day. How are you doing now? MS and WEIGHT is not just about the weight it is everything about MS at the time I started this I was having a horrible time with weight so I named it MS and WEIGHT. Hope things are better for you know.

Hi all,
I;m a new member and have failed every inject able they have put me on, The first Oral med I had such bad itching, I had to quit that one, but Tecfidera seems to be OK now, I did go through a period of itching, not nearly as bad though. I just feel like there are so many things pulling me away from my wanting to lose weight and exercise more. I know moving more would help me so much but just finding the time is so hard. I work full time, and would love to sleep 9 hours a night, I have such terrible fatigue, any hints would be most welcome!
Thanks- Kat

Yes, Faith was very helpful. Your weight loss is AWSOME! Your an inspiration to us all. Sometimes I wish I was more energetic, MS/Fatigue can slow me down. But I try to keep a good attitude. Take care.

Thanks doodles.

I haven't done a great job of keeping my profile up to date in recent months. I gained weight during December, due to prednisone and am back up to 129. working to get rid of the extra pounds.

Hi doodles. sorry no one has answered your post. I've been using the regular 20mg Copaxone dose 4x per week for several years already. Shared Solutions couldn't approve that, since it was an off label use. But my MS specialist did.
