Yes, I will go to the main forum to talk. Good luck with your car battery. Car problems are a pain!

LIVINGFREE can you come into the main forum MS and WEIGHT then we will be all on one site, I can keep up better this way LOL. I will let you know right now I am worried I may have to get a new battery for my car and I hope it just needed water and it will be happy. I thought you got a battery and you kept it happy and would last and last and last and so on but no they only have a life expectancy of a few years. I sure have had to learn a lot being only me LOL.

I totally understand that!
A lot of people are having money issues right now!
If you find out anything more about yoga let me know. Just a suggestion...if you have a public library nearby they might have Yoga CD's.

After I said that I remembered that one of my DVD or what ever they are called does not work. I cannot do the bigger tapes only the CD ones so I have to see which one it is or will have to wait till I get the money to buy one which is not right now LO(L.

yes, I think some of it is sitting, and then there are standing ones and other positions. Let me know when you do yours, if you find your tape.

I thought yoga requires a lot of balance, which I don't have, but then again, maybe I am wrong, I was on this other issue too! LOL!

LOL! I like to do the walking as much as I can. They say if you don't use it you lose it so I want to stay as active as possible. I also do like the Pilates. I definitely can't do the advanced Pilates, but I like to challenge myself. I never figured Pilates or Yoga could kick your Butt, I thought it was for people who weren't very good at exercising at all! Boy, was I wrong!

My daughter is a RN and I think she knows me better than me and so understands my problems, she was on her own when I found out I had MS. It has taken my sister a few years to understand that I was just not being lazy or just did not want to do the work that I really did have problems I think she did some reading up and finally got the picture and that has helped so much. You see we where separated because of my ex for 20 years and it was a bit of a shock for her to see me and be around me at first.

No, it is not fun. It really can get so frustrating, and my daughter still gets frustrated with me when I don't remember simple little things, but she is still young yet. For the most part she is really good with it but, she is becoming a teenager and that doesn't help things either!

Hi Pete!
I am 44, my name is Denise and I have a lot of cognitive issues, like TWOGREENEYES.
It is very frustrating at times simply trying to remember little simple things at times.
Anyhow, nice to meet you, Pete. emoticon

My name is Pete, 46 years old Dutchman living in Brighton in the UK.
I was diagnosed with RR MS 11 years ago now. Been on Copaxone ever since.
The weight problems started then I guess. I read somewhere that strenuous excersising could make the symptoms of MS worse. It has been 10 years since my last relapse (TOUCH WOOD PLEASE) and I am affraid that when I get too tired I will get worse.
The only excersise I get is walking and some yoga when I have the time. I know I have to lose about another 10 kg. The weight is coming down, but very slow. So far I have lost 5 kg in about a year.

Cheers,

Pete
