I have been a fan of Leslie Sansone for 15 years. I love the work outs and the pep talks and I too have a library. Also, you can play her on You Tube which is nice when I don't feel like popping in a DVD but am already on line. My favorites are the ones where she uses weights.

I hope I'm doing this right! I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I love LS videos, and I have quite a collection already. I live in Louisiana . . . so walking indoors is perfect for me.(walking outdoors might cause me to burst into flames!)

Honestly, I am just getting back to losing weight again. I have so much to lose, and I'm trying to just focus on this one day at a time. I'd appreciate any support I could get . . . even if it is to tell me that I posted this in the incorrect spot :)

emoticon to the team! I have my own Leslie library too and I think that is great because I don't get burned out with the same routine all the time. It is good to switch it up. I love walking with Leslie, planning on walking away this extra weight. I have a collection of her dvd's lol my husband says I have my own Leslie library! She is very motivating to me and always willing to walk with you. emoticon And I know me if I have to leave the house to do it after work it's not going to happen. I love being able to get up an hour early and get to walking right in my living room! I can walk in my pj's if I want! emoticon

Hi I'm new to this group, my name is Jeannie. I'm on my 3rd week of doing Leslie's videos. I usually workout 5-6 days a week. First week I did her videos, I lost 5 lbs, so upped my workout the next week & gained 3 lbs. I continue to walk figuring out what works best for me.

Hi, my name is Angell. I just joined Sparkpeople and this group. I came across Leslie Sansone when I was 18 (13 years ago). I loved it. After having 2 kids and struggling with the ability to have time (more like time ALONE) to exercise, I gave up. I put on over 70 pounds. I have done Leslie Sansone's videos on and off all this time but never enough, consistently, to really lose weight. I am at the most I ever weighed and with my youngest being 4 1/2, I think I have the time now to exercise. I hope by joining this group and following your goals, I have something to strive for!

Hi there, I am Becky :)

I live in Maine, but work in New Hampshire. I have three beautiful teenagers, who live with their father in Nevada for the school year and with me in the summer (this is better for them educationally --better schools out there!).

I work full time hours crammed into two weekend shifts and one evening shift with a company who specializes in the community reintegration of people who have had a traumatic brain injury (either from birth or acquired) or some sort of developmental disability. It's a challenging position, but one that I really enjoy.

I have been with SparkPeople on and off since 2008 (eek!), and I must say that this site has been such a great help to me when I actually put it to use, lol!

I just ordered my first Leslie Sansone dvd (umm, the Walk Away the Pounds - Express - Walk Strong ) on Amazon today, and I hope to be using it by next week!

Any questions, just ask. I'm excited to meet all of you!

All I really want is to spend my life traveling the world, reading books that take my breath away and drinking all kinds of coffee.

I'm new! hi! Just got my first Leslie. Five mega miles. I double up with this over my T-25. I lice this workout! I think the time plus low impact really increases my success rate and of course, my Fitbit steps.

Just joined a week ago or so. I love Leslie Sansone's workouts! She has very simple ones and anyone can do them! I have not lost a big amount of weight so far only 11 pounds but started at the end of December due to health reasons. I was having a fast heart beat and other systems. So exercise and watching my food intake has helped tremendously! I don't know what I would do for exercise if I didn't do her program.

Also a friend told my this and it's been a help. On YOUTUBE.com she has workout videos. Just thought I'd let you know just in case.

I can do all things with Jesus Christ who strengthens me!

I do have to keep replenishing my stock however, because I give mine away to anyone who is looking for a doable, encouraging way to increase their fitness level. Hello, My name is Sherilyn. I'm 54 years old, 2 grown children. 5 grandchildren, 3 of which live with me. 6 years ago I lost 60 pounds using walking away the pounds and sparkpeople. I put all that weight back on. Now I'm back to loose it again. I started right before Thanksgiving and have lost 21 pounds so far. I plan on getting back to 150. I own 8 of Leslie's disc. my birthday is Oct. 19. My strenght is that when I finally make up my mind to do something I don't stop till I get what I want. My weakness is my family and loved ones. I seam to have this bad habit of doing everything for them and forget about myself. I loose myself in their needs. I am trying to retrain myself to stop forgetting about me. My motivation is my health. I need to get healthy for my grandchildren and myself.

I love walking and just discovered Leslie Sansone last spring. Hers are the first DVDs I have used for exercising. I like them for when it's too late to walk outside at night & they will come handy this summer. I live in Texas where the summers are brutal. Sometimes I walk outside & then do a DVD. I am so glad I found this group!!

Just joined this team. My name is Gay and I am 61 yrs old. I have been a member of spark for a couple years. I was doing great and then my brother was diagnosed with cancer. He and his wife moved in with us until his death. He was diagnosed 10/13/11 and died 11/7/11. I lost my motivation then and it took me well over a year to get it back. I had lost 25 lbs but gained all that back plus 5 more. I had a wake up call 2/24 of this year and got back on track 2/25. I feel so much better. I've lost 17 lbs and a couple inches...which is the absolute best. I started doing Leslie's 1 mile walk and built up to the 2 mile and then the 3 mile. This morning I did 4 miles of the fat buster...wonderful work out! Not only am I doing it, my sister and 2 of our friends are now doing it. I was excited to be an encourager to them!

Hello everyone! My name is Jess and I am from Oklahoma City, where I live with my husband and our dog and work as a Labor & Delivery RN. I joined SP and started my journey to a healthier life just this past week. While weight loss is part of my goal, I don't want to simply focus on that, I want to become an overall healthier person. I quit smoking on January 1 and now being 60+ days smoke free I am ready to begin working on other aspects to become healthier. Over the next 60 days I am going to focus on making working out part of my daily life.

I discovered Leslie's workouts on YouTube about 6 months ago, purchased a couple of DVD's and have been doing them occasionally since then. I like that they are easy to follow and don't take up a lot of time but you still feel like you got in a good workout, even with just the 1 mile walks. I absolutely love Leslie's attitude and how motivating she is. I think that more than anything is what keeps people walking with her.

Hello. I am 62 (where did the years go)??? Have high BP, high cholesterol managed with meds. I am SEDENTARY !! I feel like my circulation is in super sluggish mode. Is this even possible? Anyway my goal is 10,000 steps a day. I will check in every day with daily steps. Hopefully that I'll keep me accountable. emoticon

Hi everyone. i am a restarter. at 218 I gained back 16 in 6 months betwenn medical checks. LS is my go to exercise but also I am putting bac on the pedometer this morning and intend to check steps as well with a goal of 10,000 per day eventually. after seeing what my baseline is now

Hello all! I am new to the site, and was very pleased to run into this team! I love Leslie Sansone and her DVDs. I have dabbled in weight loss plans the last couple of years. After the birth of my daughter a year ago, I realized how important being healthy is. Unfortunately, a year later, I am still at around 240 pounds. I'm hoping that with the help of this team and Leslie, I can succeed at losing weight.

I've been walking with Leslie for about seven months and love it! So far I've lost 14 pounds and have more to go but my body is becoming more fit, my energy level is up and I'm having fun. :)

Hi Brennyren. I just joined SparkPeople and this great Walking Warriors team. I have also been a fan of Leslie's for years and have around 40 DVDs. Unfortunately, I stopped walking on a regular basis (too much playing on Facebook) and gained 15 lbs back (after losing 45). I have made a commitment to do a walking DVD everyday in 2012. I'm joining you and others on that fitness path!

Hello,
My name is Linda and I am not new to Spark or Leslie but I know the combination of both helped me lose 25 pounds last year. Recently diagnosed with Diabetes I have gone through quite a bit of emotions and trying to get a handle on my eating. Leslie really makes you want to move and I have definitely been a Sister in Sweat in the past and looking forward to my mornings with Leslie starting tomorrow. Sparkpeople +Leslie = Success

Hi everyone! I've been using Leslie Sansone DVDs for several years now. I've lost over 70 pounds walking with Leslie. I love her energy and I have a fun time doing the workouts. I own over 30 of her DVDs with all the boosters. It's wonderful to be in a group that loves Leslie as much as I do.

Hi! I have been walking to Leslie Sansone dvds going on 3 years now since I joined SP. I think I own about 15 of them with all of her boosters and just ordered a new one that was released in Nov of 2011. So I am looking forward to seeing if there are any change ups with a new release. If there are, she had a few others that were released this past year and will be picking them up too! emoticon

I know some like all of her chatter but sometimes I wish she would just walk, or sidestep or knee lift or kick. But all of it is good so long as I keep moving! Looking forward to walking with the team!!

Hi, I'm Vicki. I live in Titusville, Fl. I'm 55 years old and 70 lbs over weight. I've been trying for over a year to get my weight down and all I've done is yo-yo back and forth. I did lose 12.2 lbs in 2011. I've started a low carb plan like I did back in the 80's ( I lost 105 lbs in 13 months and kept it off for 18 years), and I'm hoping to get the weight back off over the course of the next 2 years. I'm not nearly as active as I used to be so I know the weight won't come off as fast as it did back then. Plus I've gone into full menopause so my body tends to have a mind of it's own. I lose motivation easily so I'm hoping the team will help keep me motivated to stay on track. Thanks for having me.

Hi! I've been a SparkPerson and a Leslie fan for a long time, and have a boatload of her DVDs -- some so worn they won't play any more! I especially like her workouts during the winter, as I can fit them in no matter the weather.

I've been away from SparkPeople for a while, and my waistline shows it. emoticon But between Spark and Leslie (and the occasional side order of Richard Simmons or Denise Austin), I hope to be back on the path to fitness soon!

Hello, I've been a LS addict since the VHS days. But life goes on. Here I am finally getting a grip on my weight issues and with my bad knees and lack of steady exercise in 3yrs, I'm getting back on the WALKING at home wagon, very slowly. emoticon ... however, the last 4 days you wouldn't recognize me - I've been more like emoticon ... I have SIX LS videos, but truly only have about 4 of them that I really enjoy skipping around to the faster paced miles to see instant results. My latest blog and I guess my only blog tells about who I am and what my goals are. I'm here to add my nutrition & fitness into the calculators and just see my ticker pounds creep down the ladder! Hi I am Cheri and I just started doing Walk away the pounds recently and I love how upbeat Leslie is. I do them while my daughter is eating breakfast because I know if I don't do it then it won't get done. I am making it a goal to do a video every day for 100 days because I get bored very easily and always end up quitting before I even start. So I figured this challenge will keep me motivated . Plus I plan on ordering more videos in the near future to keep me from getting bored with the few that I have and I sometimes listen to my own music while doing the Walk away the pounds videos.

I just purchased my first Leslie Sansone DVD and I love it. I got the one for Abs. I am only doing the one mile right now, but it is a start. This sounds like a fun group, so I signed up.
I just ordered the DVD for the three mile abs with the resistance belt. These DVD's are really giving me insentive to start exercising again.
